The new Cinelight DayLED 197 video led light was developed for on-the-go location shooting, offering bright, soft, continuous daylight in a small form factor and lightweight (0.8kg!)
The Cinelight DayLED 197 LED uses 197 ultra bright, 5400K LED's which turn more energy into light, reducing power use. Due to its LED technology, this fixture has an equivalent output of 200 watts incandescent light, yet drawing just 12W at full power. The great thing is that it can be operated from a 12V battery (battery belt, car battery) via the 4 pin XLR connector.
Light, portable, dimmable 100%-0%, and with extremely low power consumption the DayLED 197 delivers an extraordinary amount of illumination in a small form factor. These fixtures represent a great lighting solution also because they offer heat free and flicker free operation, are virtually shockproof, efficient and maintenance free for many years. LED lifetime is estimated to be 50'000h or 5 year always ON.
